One line.
Every cell.
In order.

MonoPath is a calm little logic puzzle. Draw a single unbroken path that fills the whole board and passes through the numbers 1, 2, 3… in sequence. Easy to learn, surprisingly hard to put down.

Little puzzles. Big smiles.
How to play

Three rules. That's the whole manual.

There are no timers to beat and no tiles to match. Just you, a grid and one line that has to fit perfectly.

1

Start at 1

Press on the cell numbered 1 and drag up, down, left or right. Never diagonally.

2

Hit the numbers in order

Pass through 2, then 3, then 4. You can wander through any empty cells in between.

3

Fill everything

Visit every cell exactly once and finish on the highest number. Lines can't cross.

Harder boards add blocked cells and walls between cells. Made a wrong turn? Drag back along your line to undo it.

Try it

Your first puzzle

This 5×5 board has exactly one solution. Drag from 1 with a mouse or finger, or use the arrow keys.

0 / 25cells filled
1next number

Start by pressing on the 1 in the middle.

  • Drag back over your line to undo.
  • Keyboard: arrows to move, Backspace to undo.

Under the hood

One Kotlin codebase, every screen.

MonoPath is my end-to-end project: game rules, solver, apps and backend. The puzzle rules, solver and the entire UI are written once in Kotlin and shared across Android, desktop and the browser, where they run as WebAssembly. iOS is planned next.

The backend generates new boards on demand and uses a constraint solver to prove each one has a single solution before it is served.

Apps

Compose Multiplatform UI for Android, desktop and web (Kotlin/Wasm)

Shared core

Kotlin Multiplatform game rules, solver, offline generator, saves and sync

Backend

Kotlin + Spring Boot, OpenAPI contract, PostgreSQL with Liquibase, accounts and scores

Puzzle generation

Search plus Google OR-Tools CP-SAT to prove uniqueness, with OpenTelemetry tracing
